Youth Sport Hub for Sport & Physical Activity OrganizationsDoes your organization wish to enhance its network with other local sport leaders and community partners? Do you wish to gain access to participants who otherwise would not be likely to try your sport/activity? Your staff are looking for opportunities to share their love and passion for their sport, while perfecting coaching skills with various age ranges? Sport Hub offers you all that while facilitating connection with the schools, the teachers, scheduling, etc.
We have successfully piloted the Sport Hub at Notre-Dame des Vallées and Holy Spirit. We partnered with: Alberta Orienteering Association, Badminton Alberta, Cochrane Minor Soccer, Cochrane Minor Basketball, Calgary Ultimate Frisbee and Field Hockey Alberta. The Cochrane Youth Sport Hub is open to all schools within the Cochrane area including homeschool or online schools. |

Sport Hub values accessibility and affordability. To offer a low to no-cost program we encourage in-kind contributions from our partners. We also value quality coaching, so through grants and fundraising, we are able to subsidize the cost for coaches, rental fees when applicable and equipment (based on funding availability).
